However, it is their shared vision for the future of digital marketing that allowed five entrepeneurial individuals come together to form one focused entity.
David Shiell CEO
Originally from Australia, David relocated to the UK and founded our previous sister company Web Liquid in 2003.
David previously worked for media agency Mindshare as their Media Group Head, planning through-the-line campaigns for clients such as Ford, Kraft Foods, Kodak and Duracell. Upon moving to the UK he became Account Director at Agency.com, heading up their British Airways account.
David is a regular speaker at industry forums and regularly quoted in worldwide publications for his digital expertise.
Peter Figueredo Client Services
Peter is a founding member of NetX and is now based in our New York office.
Peter began his career at Nielsen Media Research and continued his career at interactive agency i-traffic helping to shape the launch of their Performance Marketing division. Peter went on to co-found NetX in 2001 until the merge with House of Kaizen in 2013.
Peter is a regular speaker at Ad:Tech, Commission Junction University, Google conferences and Search Engine Strategies and Affiliate Summit.
Chris Kramer Operations & Finance
Chris runs the global operations, finance and human resources for the agency, and like a true Kaizen professional considers his most important task to be creating a better work enviroment.
Chris began his digital media career in 1998 with agencies such as i-traffic, Agency.com and NetX. Throughout his agency career Chris worked on some of the worlds biggest brands including Conde Nast, The New York Times and American Express. He has also held operations and sales positions for Eddie Bauer and Disney Home Video.
Chris is a regular speaker at conferences such as OMMA and PubCon and has held advisory board positions for the Affiliate Summit conference.
Matt Cronin President & Growth
Based in our New York office, Matt comes from a traditional advertising and strategy background, and has been a pioneer of digital branding and acquisition.
Matt has developed innovative digital strategies for the likes of Tiffany & Co, MGM, JPMorgan Chase, British Airways, Hilton and Columbia House. In 2003 Matt co-founded Web Liquid developing techniques to create online word-of-mouth and social media solutions to more effectively understand and engage our client's constituency.
Matt can also be found as an advisor to non-profits, start-ups and as a featured speaker at online marketing forums. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fast Company and Direct Marketing News.
Alain Portmann Strategy & Insights
A native of Chile, Alain began his advertising career in New York, 1996 before moving to the UK in 2000.
Alain started at Wunderman Cato Johnson and continued his passion for digital at Brand Dialogue, the online agency launched by Young & Rubicam where he worked on clients such as American Express, Glaxo Smith Kline, Star Alliance and United Airlines. Upon moving to the UK Alain joined Agency.com working on the British Airways and One World accounts where he met David and began the creation of WebLiquid.
Alain is regularly quoted in worldwide publications for his digital expertise.
